The Vermont Student Assistance Corporation, or VSAC, is a public, nonprofit corporation. It was created by the Vermont General Assembly in 1965 to provide Vermonters with the information and financial resources they need to pursue education or training beyond high school. VSAC offers a full range of services—from information and counseling to all forms of financial aid—for Vermont residents, as well as loan services for non-residents attending participating Vermont colleges.
