Admissions

Southern Vermont College accepts applications on a rolling admission basis, meaning that applications are reviewed prior to two weeks before the start of a semester. SVC accepts application for fall and spring semesters. Admission to the College is based on prior academic performance, personal character, potential for achievement, and a strong desire to participate actively in an academic setting. Applicants must submit a completed application form with a $30 fee; an official transcript from their high school or an official copy of their GED with scores, transcripts from all colleges previously attended; two letters of recommendation; a 300-word essay; and SAT, ACT, or Southern Vermont College placement test scores. An interview is highly recommended.
