Saint Michael’s College operates
on the principle that the students who get the most out
of college are the students who give the most.
Because
nearly all undergraduates live on campus, students have
unlimited opportunity to stretch their own boundaries
and explore new frontiers through activities as diverse
as an award-winning on-line student magazine, as well
as a student newspaper; 21 intercollegiate sports, as
well as numerous club and intramural teams; student government;
the Martin Luther King Society and the Diversity Coalition;
a variety of Edmundite Campus Ministry activities; the
all-student, all-volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad and 40-plus
additional student clubs. Our two most popular student
organizations are Wilderness Program, which certifies
leaders in survival skills and also introduces novices
to their first hiking, climbing, skiing or kayaking outings;
and MOVE, our student-led volunteer clearinghouse in which
approximately 70% of our students get invloved.
