Our
Mission |
The primary mission of New England Culinary
Institute is to prepare qualified students as skilled foodservice
professionals. Many NECI graduates, after additional years
of experience and demonstration of their abilities, advance
to supervisory positions, such as executive chef or restaurant
owner. As skilled foodservice professionals, graduates of
the Associate's degree programs are able to perform effectively
at one or more key positions in commercial kitchens, hotels,
or restaurants, and as chefs for small restaurants. Graduates
of the Bachelor's program are generalists who are qualified
to be chefs, dining room managers, and business officers
for hotels and restaurants. |
