Lyndon State College

Academics

Students have a choice of 22 degree programs, all of which prepare students for a wide variety of careers and graduate study. Lyndon State College is committed to offering liberal arts and professional programs that challenge students to develop their full potential in an environment that fosters personal attention. New students participate in the “First-Lyndon Year Experience” (FLYe). The first-year program offers purposeful and engaging learning opportunities both in- and out-of-the-classroom, and provides intentional connections to academic and social support networks to ensure the success of the student's first year at Lyndon. A component to the FLYe program is the First Major Activity. At the end of the 3rd week of classes, each academic department organizes a daylong event that takes new students out into the field. It's the first of many hands-on experiences that students will encounter during their time at Lyndon.
