Johnson State College

JSC Men's Lacrosse

Student Life

With nearly 30 students clubs and organizations students have little trouble finding opportunities for companionship, fun and adventure.  Some of our student clubs are organized around social or political interests, some around a shared commitment to community serve, some exist just for the fun of being together.  Our Residential Life staff and Student Association direct activities thorough the year - barbecues, movie nights, cultural and arts events, and service projects.

The campus calendar is packed with concerts, lectures, poetry and fiction readings, art showings, theater productions, and athletic and club events.  Our Thursday Night Coffee House and Open Mic night are great venues to check out weekly performances of all kinds.  The Dibden Center for the Arts brings in nationally recognized performers to campus, and hosts regional, local, and student and faculty performances every semester.  Our newly renovated Stearns Student Center is the heart of the JSC campus community and offers students, faculty and staff a place to meet, study, dine, discuss and more!

JSC fields 12 NCAA Division III teams (6 for men, 6 for women) as well as a host of intramural, club and recreational sports. The College's state-of-the-art SHAPE Facility boasts a fully-equipped cardiovascular fitness center, climbing wall, training room, spinning room, racquetball courts, and 25-yard pool.  And you'll have a great time exploring the campus’s eight miles of cross-country trails, snowboard park and 18-hole Frisbee-golf course.
