Student Life

With more than 35 clubs and organizations on campus, students have little trouble finding opportunities for companionship, fun and adventure. Student leadership options are many and varied, and many groups create or sponsor events for the entire campus community. An integral part of the JSC experience is our community service program, SERVE, which has won both regional and national awards. Students have a chance to volunteer locally, or to serve in places like homeless shelters in Washington, or to build homes for Habitat for Humanity in the southeastern U.S.

JSC fields 10 varsity Division III teams (6 for men, 6 for women) as well as a host of intramural, club and recreational sports. The College's state-of-the-art SHAPE Facility boasts a fully-equipped cardiovascular fitness center, climbing wall, training room, racquetball courts, and 25-yard pool.
