The Goddard learning experience is intended
to be an integrated one. Consequently, given the size and
orientation of the College and most of its students, Goddard
does not have the co-curricular activities and athletic
passions of typical undergraduate residential colleges.
Our outdoor environment in an unspoiled portion of central
Vermont allows wonderful outdoor activities in hiking, downhill
and cross-country skiing and many individualistic activities,
some of which are organized by the College's student life
coordinators. Our commitment to a more just and sustainable
world provides opportunities for community events, forums,
radio programming (on the College's own renowned community
radio), and other activities that in many educational settings
might be fulfilled by "clubs." Finally, our campus is filled
year-round with musical events that are related to Goddard's
deserved reputation as a germinator of trends in contemporary
musical innovation.
