Goddard College

Admissions

Goddard's admissions policy is inclusive, not exclusive. The basic criterion for admission are a thorough understanding of the Goddard program and readiness to fulfill the commitment of the program. Candidates should be self-motivated, mature and passionate about learning. Students should be willing to participate in group discussions and work programs, and possess strong writing skills.

All Bachelor of Arts applicants need to complete an application, provide a personal statement, two letters of recommendation, transcripts from high school and previous college and have an interview.

Students who apply for any of the Master of Arts programs are required fill out an application and provide a personal statement, transcripts from previous college, three letters of recommendation, a preliminary study plan and preliminary bibliography. Students who are applying for the MFA programs must submit a portfolio of their work.

There is a $40 application fee for both programs.
