Boundless activities
College is not a spectator sport. It’s a chance to lead, to run a club or start a new organization. Because Champlain is small, leadership opportunities abound. Our students join in. They run for office. They board. They game. They volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. They mentor kids in the DREAM program. They keep active with on-campus yoga, aerobics and intramural sports. They are plugged into music, theater, e-gaming and most of all, to the boundless energy of the Champlain campus.

Unique residence halls
Picture a residence hall that looks like a mansion. You may have the opportunity to live in one of these mansions. Or you might live in an apartment building or enjoy suite living. You can even choose a residence hall that fits your lifestyle. Themed residence hall options include: the Performance Arts House, the International House, the Wellness House and the Community Service House.

At Champlain, Burlington will be your playground, Vermont your inspiration. We’re located right in the middle of Burlington, one of America’s great college towns. Our campus is a short walk up the hill from the heart of the city and its richly diverse attractions.

The downtown area is alive with unique shops, coffee- and teahouses, restaurants with food from around the world, art galleries and music venues. Champlain students also spend time on the lakeside recreation path and the scenic Burlington waterfront.

The Green Mountain State offers a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. From the door of your 130-year-old remodeled Victorian residence hall, you will enjoy a gorgeous lake and nearby mountains that beckon to skiers, boarders, hikers, bikers and climbers.
