Bennington College
The responsibility students assume in planning a course of study extends to life outside the classroom. Bennington treats the idea and the ideals of self-governance very seriously. Students are expected to discover the balance between freedom and responsibility and to do so by meeting the challenges of self-governance in their academic and non-academic lives.
