Attending Graduate school in Vermont offers students many unique opportunities that may surprise you! There are 18 institutions in the Consortium of Vermont Colleges that offer graduate degrees. We like to call it the “Vermont Education” or more commonly known as experiential learning. Students are able to learn while doing and be surrounded by the beautiful Green Mountains or their own living room. Graduate programs in Vermont offer students three different methods of completion: low residency, on-campus or online. Students have the option of going to a college campus everyday for class, going one week a semester or completing their entire graduate degree online.
The process of applying to graduate schools can be a bit overwhelming, especially if it’s been many years since you completed your undergraduate degree. Requesting additional information is very useful because you will be sent information to help guide you through the process of applying to that individual school. It is also encouraged to schedule a time to meet with a counselor in the Graduate Admissions Office to talk about your unique goals and what they can offer you to help you accomplish them.
